Peroxiredoxin-1 is a protein which reduce hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides. The encoded protein may play an antioxidant protective role in cells, and may contribute to the antiviral activity of CD8(+) T-cells. This protein may have a proliferative effect and play a role in cancer development or progression. Three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.

Applications:

Western Blot

Western blot analysis of 1) MCF7, 2) Rat Kidney Tissue, 3) Mouse Brain Tissue with TDY139 diluted at 1:2000.

IF

IF analysis of Hela with TDY139(Left) and DAPI (Right) diluted at 1:100.
