Mouse Monoclonal antibody is prepared by immunizing synthetic peptide coupled to KLH.

Specificity

The Bax Mouse Monoclonal antibody can recognize endogenous Bax proteins.

Storage

Store at -20°C. Stable for one year from the date of shipment.

Concentration

1mg/ml in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Dilutions

WB 1:1,000-2,000 IHC 1:100-200

Bax is a key component for cellular induced apoptosis through mitochondrial stress. Upon apoptotic stimulation, Bax forms oligomers and translocates from the cytosol to the mitochondrial membrane.
